Introduction to Survey and Grade Checking

This course provides an overview on the surveying profession including the history of surveying and its impact on the world. Participants will review the mathematics used in surveying and be introduced to basic surveying equipment with an emphasis on horizontal and vertical measurements. This course is 16 hours in length and includes actual field lab exercises where the participants  have the opportunity to practice topics covered in the classroom.
