Build a Better Mousetrap Competition 2021

It's that time of the year again! The Federal Highway Administration's Center for Local Aid Support has announced that the 2021 Build a Better Mousetrap Competition is officially underway. 

Build a Better Mousetrap celebrates innovative solutions for challenges that local and tribal transportation workers encounter. These innovations can range from the development of tools and equipment modifications to the implementation of new processes that increase safety, reduce cost, and improve efficiency of our transportation system.

If your agency has developed an innovative solution to a transportation-related problem that has led to safer and more efficient working conditions, then this is your opportunity to have your agency highlighted by the AZLTAP and the FHWA. Our local agencies should submit their Innovations to AZ LTAP for consideration. For details on this year’s competition click here.
